MR-PC'S BOXXDIN RED FACTIONLOCK DOWN 12 HOUR MARATHON
The Sunday Red Faction lock down went well with everyone thoroughly enjoying the new RED FACTION Guerrilla game by THQ. We played it solo and then a marathon RED FACTION multi player system link game. RED FACTION Guerrilla is fantastic, but as a multi player game has really showcased its advanced design with nano guns, jet packs, rocket launchers and an array of great weapons and buildings that are able to be totally demolished all around and has certainly enhanced its focus on destructive fun. And then of course there is your trusty old sledge hammer. The event started at 8pm Sunday night and finished with some very blurry eyed gamers staggering out into the early sunlight at 8am on Monday morning. COD5, Halo 3, Gears 2, World at War and even a mini golf tournament on the Wii Machines, but the star of the night was RED FACTION Guerrilla with all agreeing that it was a totally fantastic game with many staggering out into the early Monday morning mist looking for a retailer to purchase this awesome game. Many thanks to THQ and Annabelle from MANGO for the advanced copies and promotional materials which really made the night.
